So recently my family has gained a new member. This is was a complete surprise to everyone in the family and we were all shocked to get the news. Well the story starts with my brother calling and telling me that he is thinking about getting married. I didn't even know that he had a girlfriend so this was kind of strange to me. He began to tell me how wonderful this girl was and they both really wanted to get married and have a life together. I was excited for him of course but didn't completely agree because I haven't met the girl and I always have to approve of them. After telling the whole family that he was engage, we began to plan a wedding and I was going to be a bridesmaid. All excited to be in a wedding on the beach was quickly shot down. About a week or two later my grandmother received a text message from my brother telling me that he got married. Now this really blew us away. First he gets engaged to a girl we have never met then goes and gets married with out his family. A few family members were upset with his decision but I took it as if, if this is what he really wanted then it's his choice and I will support it. So, this weekend they are both traveling from Virginia for the whole family to meet the newest member of the Stodghill family. Thursday, March 25, 2010

Wow, that's crazy!! I hope you like her! I wonder why he rushed into this and didn't have a big family wedding...? I hope that he's happy!
ReplyDeleteWell so far she is an okay girl. She was really nervous about meeting all of us but isn't that shy which is really good. And I have no clue why they rushed it, that's always been my brother though, he just does what he wants when he wants. I do think he is happy, he sure does seem like it, lol.
